I have been using earthlink satellite system for my ISP.( I live in
the country where the phone lines are not reliable) My satellite
system uses 2 modems, 1 for transmit and one for receive. I use
network cards and network software for connecting our 2 computers (we
are a his and her ccomputers family) to the internet. The modems do
not have USB connectors. They use coavial cable connectors and our 2
computers are connected by a LAN cable.

I am getting ready to upgrade my computer to a high end dual processor
system and replace my wifes P2 Win 98 system with my old P4 Win xp
system.

Does anybody have any inputs as to what would be the best but simplest
way to network our computers. Maybe I should stick with what I've been
using but I'm sure a lot has happened in the networlding world that I
do not know about.

All comments gratefully received

TIA

Loringh.
