Some computers on a network are slow when using a parts catalog on a
server.... some computers seem to be slower then others (up to a minute to
populate a drop down box) and two computers can do it as fast as you can
click What is causing this and what can I do or try to fix it?
Thanks
Off the top of my head, I'd look at each computer and:
# Operating system.
# Network protocols.
# Hardware.
# Network hardware.
# Applications running.
# Security.
# Network connections.
Any of the above factors may be relevant.

Thanks, I'll lokk into that.... i failed to metion that all computers are
identacal and are only running IE, ADP, and this parts catalog i checked for
adware & viruses but i'll look into Network protocols, Hardware, Network
hardware, Network connections,
thanks for your time
Well, that's a good start. If the computers are identical (and verify protocol
settings and tweaks), then looking at what might be changed on top of the
identicalness is good. Checking for "adware & viruses" is a good start, but may
justify more depth. In your case, HijackThis and expert advice would be a good
idea.
