Re: Can’t see a computer in the network

I'm starting a new one...
OK Chuck…
Ran the Network wizard in both computers… shutdown and restart…
Let me tell you what I found… I ran SC QUERY TYPE= SERVICES and found two
services that looked familiar… LANMANWORKSTATION and LANMANSERVER, in Spanish
the description of the service was “Estacion de Trabajo” (Workstation in
English) for LANMANWORKSTATION, and “Servidor” (Server in English) for
LANMANSERVER…
So, I modified the CPSSERV.CMD to add those services LANMANSERVER and
LANMANWORKSTATION.
AT LEVC
The results for CPSSERV.TXT is…
Start CPSServ V1.02 - LEVC
Find Computer Browser ("browser")
Checking \\LEVC... Found browser on:
\\LEVC
Find TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper ("lmhosts")
Checking \\LEVC... Found lmhosts on:
\\LEVC
Find Remote Registry ("remoteregistry")
Checking \\LEVC... Found remoteregistry on:
\\LEVC
Find Server ("server")
Checking \\LEVC... No active service named server found.
Find Server ("lanmanserver")
Checking \\LEVC... Found lanmanserver on:
\\LEVC
Find WF / ICS ("sharedaccess")
Checking \\LEVC... Found sharedaccess on:
\\LEVC
Find Workstation ("workstation")
Checking \\LEVC... No active service named workstation found.
Find Server ("lanmanworkstation")
Checking \\LEVC... Found lanmanworkstation on:
\\LEVC
End CPSServ V1.02 – LEVC
SC QUERY shows…
