Hi
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed
to be shared.

I recently purchased a Windows XP laptop and have a Windows 2000 desktop at
home. I would like to set up a home network and already have a Linksys
router. I have both computers connected to the router and have no
problems
accessing the internet from either computer, but neither of the two
computers
can find each other. I have shared one specific folder on each computer
and
have put them under the same workgroup name. Does anyone have any
suggestions on what I can do to make them talk to each other?
