hi
i have got a machine which will not disconnect drive mappings or
partitions. These are not from a batch file. I have manually
disconnected them and then they reappear after booting.
They do not appear in disk management. Is there a registry key that
stores these drive mappings or partitions?
I suspect these might be from possible install of USB keys?
Those wouldn't be persistent, if the USB key/card reader wasn't connected at
the time - and you can't disconnect drive mappings to local devices the same
way you do network ones.
What are the drive letters you see, that you don't expect to see? If you
type
net use
<enter>
in a command prompt, do they show up?
