flushing arp cache
Can any one tell me why I get the following Error when I
try to Repair my network connection.
"The following steps of the repair operation failed:
Flushing the ARP cache
Please contact your Network Administrator or ISP"
I am working on a LAN made up of Win 9X boxes, Win2000
boxs Win XP boxes and Win XP Pro boxes. The Network is
connected to a Lyncsys Router to the WAN. The lan uses
static IP's and is set to use workgroups uses the domain
for Exchange server only.
My connection was acting a little slow and I clicked on
Repair to see if that would clear it up. It has seemed to
work in the passed. But now I get this error. It hasn't
seemed to have effected anything, and the network
connection speeded up after the repair. I'm just curious
what is going on and what the implications of the error
are.
Thanks for your help
