Printer network drops out on power failure

I have a USR 5461 router and print server connected to a cable modem. I
have three laptops networked via ethernet, and the net always runs fine
after a power failure. But I have to re-install the network printer
(Konica Magicolor 2300DL) on each laptop everytime there is a
disconnect of the power to the printer server within the USR 5461. I
am running Windows 2000, XPhome ans XPpro, and I just bought a UPS
which is connected to the router/printer server. I hope this will solve
my problem vis a vis the printer server dropping out after a
disconnect. Any helpful comments welcome....
