Hi,
I have a small network on which all the computers function normally except
one new one can't get to the internet. There's four wired computers and one
wireless on a D-Link DI-624. All computers are either XP home or Pro. The
one in question is XP home. I can ping the router, I can see other
computers in the workgroup and their files, and I can see the offending
computer from others on the LAN. I thought somebody suggested a website for
this type of issue, but I can't find the thread now. It's really
frustrating because this is a computer for a security camera system that I'd
like to access from home as I once could. Thanks for the help!
Pete
Pete,
If the problem with the one computer is simply Internet access, let's look at
"ipconfig /all" for the problem computer, and for 2 of the properly working
computers.
