Re: File sharing problems

Hi
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,
http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed
to be shared.

I'm running a small wireless home network and I'm having a few problems.
Both computers are fully updated, running XP home sp2, all the firewalls
are
configuered correctly my intenet connection is fine and the shared printer
operates fine. My problem lies in file sharing. I can access files from
my
laptop that are stored on my desktop, but not very quickly. The other way
round it hardly works at all, if ever.
I think the problem may lie with egistery entries? I think the problem
started when I had to re-setup the network.

Any help really appreciated
