Follow-up to my question:
I've now moved this external drive to another computer. Same problem, other
computers can see but cannot access this drive. Drive works fine on the
computer on which it is installed.
Suggestions please.

One of my Windows XP Pro computers has an external hard drive attached via
the USB port. The drive has Network Share enabled.
I'm able to see this drive from two other LAN computers but cannot access
it. It tells me I may not have permissions to use this network resource. I
can however access the computer that has the drive attached.
Suggestions please.
