it doesn't matter you logon local or domain administrator. Did you format the drive as NTFS?

Hi
I would like to know how i can create a shared folder on a drive that I had
connected using "map network" tab.
To do this should I connect as local administrator or use my domain user id
with admin rights. I tried both ways but I'm unable to see "sharing and
security" when i right click on networked folder. I can see same for my local
drive folder.I'm on WindowsXp.
Sorry for any mistakes. This is my first one here.
