Is it possible to change the Node Type of a NIC card?
The laptop on the network, ipconfig/all, says it's HYBRID.
The desktopm with XP PRO says UNKNOWN. This used to have 2000 and was
DYNAMIC.
Now, I need the ADSL modem on for the two machines to communicate with
each
other. The old way, 2000, I didn't.
As near as I can tell, the Node Type might be the reason why.
