I am running XP on the host system and 95 on another computer. I have a DSL
connection on the host (XP) computer. I can access files, printers, etc. in
both directions but not the internet via the DSL connection on the host using
the computer running 95. What is going wrong?
Let's look at "ipconfig /all" from each computer:

When you setup the XP computer, did you run the Network Setup Wizard, and
select:
This computer connects directly to the Internet. The other computers on my
network connect to the Internet through this computer.
And did you create a setup disk from the NSW, and run it on the Windows 95
computer? Or simply setup the Windows 95 computer, using DHCP (automatic
settings)?
