Seriously, check that and I believe there is an option under
tools>options>security- "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that
could contain viruses, etc".

what virus software are you running?

HELP...I can not download anything or open email attachments!! My system
WinXP SP2 Home & IE6. I have scanned for viruses, tried system restore,
registry repair, disabled firewall and virus antispyware, tried repair
(booted from WinXP install disk and selected "repair"). Nothing I tried
will
solve my problem! I am the only user. Any ideas or HELP would be
appreciated.
