Yes -- even though I don't quite understand why we run a "-r Deny" command
last?? Even still I did it, and I still don't have access. Something
interesting, I have a laptop that also runs XP home that I have not trouble
accessing on network? I compared everything that I could and the only
difference so far is that 'non-access' one has Window's Firewall not just
off but disabled... meaning all greyed out? Any other suggestions?
Thanks
rats -- nothing works. I tried everything for the XP Home PC and nothing
gives me access?? The ntrights.exe command line returns successful but
still
no luck. Is there something else I'm missing?
Thanks
Did you enter the two commands EXACTLY as presented below - case
sensitivity
precisely observed?
ntrights +r SeNetworkLogonRight -u Guest
ntrights -r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight -u Guest
