Unable to read web pages with very small fonts

I am probably posting this at the wrong bulletin board but I don't know
where else to look. Lately I find that most websites changed to very small
fonts which in many cases are not readable. I changed to "clear type" but
with no better results. Is there any way those website fonts can be changed
to make them readable?
I would appreciate any help.
