Hi
Ihave a band and on our website I click a link for our message
board and up until a few weeks ago had no problem but now all i get
is
" 500 INTERNAL ERROR " - The server encountered an internal error
or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please someone help me. . what do I do? ? ?Any suggestions very
welcome
Are you managing the webserver? If not, contact the webmaster because
the problem is with the website and not your computer. If you are
running your own webserver, please post back with the operating
system, messageboard software, and other pertinent details.
I dont run the site, but our Promoter set up the message board which
is available free from the web, check it out www.thedirtylooks.com
bottom right hand corner of front page you will see the link to
message board ... apparantly other people can still access the message
board but I cant ..... really appreciate your help with this ...Thanx
The "500 INTERNAL ERROR" message usually has to do with cgi scripts on
the website - either the script is unreachable or the permissions are
set incorrectly. This is on the webserver, not the client (your
computer). Since other people can get to the website, perhaps you have
some third-party security software running that has disallowed the
script. Only you know what is on your computer, so you'll have to
examine what you have installed for protection.
