Hi
The Wireless can be managed with Windows Zero Configuration (WZC) or the
original Wireless Utility that is supplied by the manufacturer.
However, it cannot run correctly with both.
It might be that the original utility is loaded automatically at Startup and
then Switches Off, and later ON WZC.
If this is the case, make a decision which one you want to use. In most
cases, you do not even need to uninstall the original util, just take it out
of the Startup folder and keep it for a rainy day.
To check and change the status of WZC here, http://www.ezlan.net/wzc.html
May be this can Help too,

Hi!
I have run a successful peer to peer home wireless network for close on 3
years now with only a few minor glitches along the way until now.
Whenever I enable or disable the wireless device on my laptop it is
followed in a minute or so by several services terminating and sometimes
making the system unusable. This is often accompanied (tho not always) by
a Generic Host Process error message which doesn't even tell me which
program or service is at fault.
The computer it is peered with is a desktop with broadband cable modem set
to Internet Connection sharing.
I have tries to isolate any rogue services and disable them but the
problem still remains.
This is now becoming a serious issue and I don't know where to go from
here. Please help.
Thanks
Anthony C
