I got two little ones so I'm typically spending a few minutes at a time.

Anyway, I have run through all of your troubleshooters and guides and that
actually got my three machines working interactively. The fourth one is the
problem. I get proper IPCoNfigs on all four with "unkown" nodes. IN
browstat on the three, the Master browser looks fine with no errors. The two
working stations acknowledge the browser but give the error 53.

The fourth station has the browser not on domain problem.

The fourth station can ping the other three, plus the router, but the other
three cannot ping it.

The fourth station has no firewall software on it.

Two of the other two (Master broweser and one other workstation run Norton
PFW but I have got that configured properly and as I said, the other three
run ok between them (share files/printers) but the two workstations get the
error 53 which does not seem to be causing me any problems.

Your thoughts?

If no help there, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer here, so we can diagnose the problem together. Provide name and
edition of the operating system on each computer please.
