I just replaced a computer on my home network with a brand new one, and can't
seem to get rid of the \\computer name\share name is not accessible. You

computer up identical to the one it replaced: profiles, passwords, etc., but
I can only access files residing on the laptop (from the desktop), and not
vice/versa. Ran Network setup wizard on both machines (connect to internet
through a wireless router, desktop connected directly to router, laptop
connects wirelessly), and both systems show up in netwok neighborhood on each
computer. I can access the laptop shares through the desktop & get the error
5 when trying to access desktop shares from the Laptop. Both computers have
all applicable services running, NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled, and
Restrictanonymous registry settings for both are set to 0. I can ping each
machine, the router, and local hosts from each machine. I am also running
Norton Internet Security 2006 on both machines with the firewall enabled for
my home network. Have tried disabling NIS on both machines with no effect.
I have read every post on this newsgroup and tried everything to no avail.
Below are the results of Ipconfig, net view, browstat & ping for each
machine. I'm about at the end of my rope...It is probably something simple,
but I can't find it. Please help!

Sorry about the length of this message, but wanted to get all pertinent data
