Can ping, can not access.

Using XP home updated. Can ping both XP systems and an NT but when I use the View Network Computers the system temporarly hangs and then produces a message "workgroup" is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the Admin..... The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available.

Do not get it. Any help???
