To get to My Network Places, double click My Computer icon and it should be
on the panel on the left hand side. To put the icon on your desktop, follow
these steps:
-- Right click empty area on Desktop, select Properties from menu
-- Select the Desktop tab and hit the Customize Desktop button on the bottom
-- Check the My Network Places checkbox under Desktop Icons
