OK, Cara.
That's a good start. Now when I cite articles for you to read, the instructions
for what I need are in the articles, or in the articles linked from there. I
use hypertext to provide assistance. Please start with this article.
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/06/how-to-get-most-out-of-pchucks-network.html#Hypertext>
http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/06/how-to-get-most-out-of-pchucks-network.html#Hypertext
What we need is "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from 1 computer in Admin,
and 1 in Sales, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp>
http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp
If the Internet went down and came up, and the problem that you're reporting
started happening, I'm going to bet that something happened to your network. I
need to see how your network is setup, and "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all"
will tell us where to start.
