Re: XP Networking and Retrospect 6.5 Backup issue

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

could this be a corrupted directory structure on the usb drive, maybe caused by not unmounting it before unplugging it?

Has anyone experienced this problem before? I am having a problem backing up
one pc to the other pc's USB drive. Both pc's run XP Pro SP2 and are on the
same network segment. With a Netgear RP614 router maintaining LAN and ISP
connectivity. Unattended Retrospect backups from pc2 to the USB drive on pc1
fail with the errors below issued to the event log. Only the backup is having
an issue all other connectivity/copying between systems works fine.
The MS Knowledge Base only refers to these errors under article's 321733 and
812937 both of which should have been resolved with XP SP2.
