Thanks! The shares I have set up are pretty much secure (i.e., for some
weird reason they just don't work...something I'm troubleshooting at
the moment). And since he only has one laptop, I'm not too worried
about the number of IPs he uses. I've already noted his machine name
and MAC address so that I can check the router logs, which pretty much
only tell me when he connects and for how long.

The main thing I'm concerned about though is what kinds of web sites
he's visiting. I don't mean to be racist or to be perpetuating
stereotypes, but he's a young Arab student for whom I have no history
or background. "Not that there's anything wrong with that...", but I
also don't know what kinds of sites he's into or even if he's just a
script kiddie looking for free access to mess around on other people's
networks via mine.

Know of any good freeware "Net Nanny" type software that will snitch on
him if he goes to questionable sites or that will show me a brief
history of what he did visit?
