Hi Tony

I appreciate the time taken to respond to my problem. I have checked the
Properties for the DSL lan and ICS is checked. The link you provided does
state 'If you're sharing a DSL, cable modem, or other ethernet-based Internet
connection, the computer with the connection must have two ethernet cards
installed. (Microsoft doesn't tell you about this one!)'. Do I take this to
mean I can't have different types of lan connection. Currently the DSL modem
on the Host PC is connected via USB and the Client PC is connected to the
Host PC directly via NIC's on both using a Cat 5 crossover cable.
Prior to getting the DSL modem, I had an ISDN modem. The network worked fine
then.
