Hi,

Can anyone point me to where I can find detailed step-by-step set up for how
to access another computer (e.g. a home computer) from Internet when I was
away?

I understand VPN might be the solution but for some reasons, my previous
tries were not successful and it seems to be very slow.

The home PC is connected to a wireless router using LAN cable and with DSL
Internet connection.
