Hi CHuck,
Just ran "netsh winsock reset catalog" on ETPC-01
Ping ETPC-01, got the address as 192.168.0.1.
Ping ETPC-02, got the address as 192.168.0.107 (is this within range?)
Tray icon says connected why can't ping each other?
Doesn't this indicated connectivity?
How do I know whether ICS is running or not on ETPC-01?
How to test DHCP client running on ETPC-02?
I will google for more LSP/Winsock solutions.
LAN Status, Details shows:
Physical Address:
IP Address 192.1680.0.1
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
But doesn't show any details for:
Default Gateway:
DNS Server:
WINS Server:
Should there be some data for these?
I think my problem is with ETPC-02, because I am Unable to browsse the
network.
Where as I could see ETPC-02 on ETPC-01, just cannot acces the files/folders.
What do you reckon?
Regards,
Edmund
