Maybe while sitting at the Desktop right click the folder you want to share
and choose the context menu item that says 'Sharing and Security...' Check
the boxes 'Share this folder on the Network' & also 'Allow other users to
change my files'. AND there is a link right there for help on
sharing/security which has some very simple tips.
