I have two computers that are hooked to the network correctly. The laptop (running XP Home) and a desktop running Linux. The young fella's computer
(desktop running a strange version of XP Home that he purchased in Germany)
does not seem to see or connect to the network. The router knows that a
powered line is hooked into port 2 on the back of the router but that is as
far as I can get.
Like I mentioned I have purchased a wireless pci card for his computer as
well as stringing an ethernet cable halfway across the house and still cannot
get his to connect to the network.
