Did you change the password from the computer in question, or from
elsewhere?
It may be that the computer in question is not connecting fully to the
network, and thusly it allows the user to log on to the profile of that user
without logging on to the network.
If your default user profile is configured to do so, I would delete the user
profile of the current user and then have that user log in. The computer
then MUST use the network for log on verification. If it does not, find the
connectivity problem.
I have seen XP allow a user to log on when the computer is totally
disconnected from the network because there was a profile in the computer
for that user and password.
