Your router is the "unknown Internet connection sharing device". You
don't need to enable ICS on your computers to access the router's
shared Internet connection.

The ICS settings have nothing to do with file and printer sharing.
Something else is causing the problems. Make sure that a firewall
isn't blocking access from the network.
