Networking problems

I have two windows boxes, one desktop is win2k Prof and the other (laptop) is
winxp prof. The W2k box is connected to another non-windows box via an adsl
router and those two communicate quite happily.
However, the XP box is having trouble communicating with both other boxes.
Despite being in the same workgroup, it cannot see either of the other two
pc's - when I try to discover the workgroup in My Network Places, it responds
by saying that the workgroup is not accessible. I can ping the w2k pc and the
w2k pc can see the laptop shares, but the laptop does not appear in the
workgroup display in "Computers Near Me" in W2k.
There is obviously something missing in my configuration. Here are some
obvious outputs from the Xp box.
ipconfig /all returns:

This problem(s) has had me tearing my hair out over the last few days. Can
anyone help me resolve it, please?
