Wired Networking Issue, Plz Help Me!

Well, here's my setup.

Internet Connection -> Hub->2 computers 1 old comp, 1 new comp (their names
for this one)

I have internet access from both.
>From the OLD COMP, i can access all the shared folders on NEW COMP.

Now, the problem is, for some reason, on the NEW COMP, i cant get onto any
of the shared folders, or even find the OLD COMP, well i can see it in my
network places, but when i click properties it says cannot find server. grr

so, eveyrthing is perfect, apart from i cnt get from the NEW COMP to the OLD
COMP, i have ran network setup on the OLD one, but the prompt for enabling
fileshare does not appear (which seems a bit wierd) and it does on the NEW
one.
It is not my firewalls because i tried the same with them disabled.
