Okay, so I was having problems (drop outs, difficulty connecting) with my web connection. I worked thru the modem trouble shooter and it gave tips about
overcoming an unstable phone line. It gave an option to use the modem in what
I remember as a 'safe mode' - there were two options - I checked the first
box and that seemed to stablise my connection.
But it was slow. I've since had the phone line checked out by phone company
and fixed faults. Now I want to uncheck the 'safe mode' option to see if the
connection speeds up (about 28.8 is the fastest I can get at the moment)
BUT I CAN'T FIND WHERE TO UNCHECK THIS 'SAFE MODE' THING!
Anyone got any ideas?
