Ahmed,
Let's see what we know from these 3 computers.
# Node types all Broadcast, so no name resolution problem there.
# All 3 report Comp_3 as the master browser, and Server as a backup. No browser
conflict indicated.
# All 3 computers are on the 192.168.1/24 subnet.
# DHCP is not in use, but all 3 computers report the same DNS servers.
# Server unable to access registry on Comp_3, though other 2 computers have no
problem.
# No gratuitous protocols, all computers using NetBIOS Over TCP/IP.
# All 3 computers in domain Global.
Now the questions.
# All 3 browstats report 2 domains on the network. Any idea what the other
domain is?
# How about same diagnostics for Comp_3?
# Browstat run on Comp_14 reports 11 servers, the other 2 report 7. Any idea
about the discrepancy?
# Is this a domain, or workgroup? If domain, which is the DC?
Is Server the problem computer?
If they're all Windows 2000, then we can rule out Simple vs Advanced File
Sharing, but you still have firewalls, Guest only authentication, and
restrictanonymous as possible problems. These articles apply to that extent
(even if most are written with a Windows XP focus):
