Help.
I have recently set up ICS to share a dialup internet conmnection over a
wired (ethernet) and wireless network while I switched ADSL providers. Now
that I have adsl back - I fear that ICS has persisted in my XP PC's and I
can't seem to get rid of it.
Specifically, there's now a connection called "Internet Connection" and it
appears under show all connections, Internet Gateway section, as well as on
the system tray as two PC's when connected. If I expand the system tray icon,
it shows Internet Connection status, along with stats of sent and received
bits, as well as a properties and disable button. I can only think that this
was created when I installed/started using ICS.
I have disabled the ICS service and it no longer starts up, but this
Internet Connection thing just won't go away.
What is it and how do I get rid of it ?????
Peter.
