Re: Disabling VPN Firewall When VPN Is Not Running

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have had a look on their web site for similar issues, but frankly, my level
of understanding was such that the content was not particularly helpful. To
give you some background into my problems, please search on "Problems Setting
Up a Small Wireless Home Network" within "Windows XP Networking and the Web".
As you will see, a solution was found, but it involved removing "Checkpoint
SecuRemote" from my Local Area Connection Properties on my server, which then
resulted in the VPN software not working.

I may be in the wrong forum here - if someone knows of a more relevant
forum, I would appreciate it if you could direct me. Of course, if you have
a solution, I would be very grateful.
