Yes - if you did a repair of WinXP, then you'll need to go to Windows update
and reapply all updates/fixes/security patches.
To save some grief in the future, get the full SP2 network version (if you
don't have broadband, see if a friend that does can assist) and build you a
slipstreamed version of WinXP SP2.
