Can't reconnect to network drives

I posted last week but did not get anty feedback. ThoughtI'd try again ---
We have a network at our church which is a simple peer-to-peer hook up with a
central server. All are running XP Home or Pro. I have one machine running
XP Home that will not recconnect to the network if it is restarted fro any
reason. I have to go in and disconnect the drives in My Network Places,
Delete them fro mthe computer, reload the places in the system and then
reassign the mapping on the drives. It only happens on one machine. I have
hooked other machines to its 10/100 cable and they work fine so I am pretty
sure it is not a switch/router issue. Any ideas on how to reset this? The
"Reconnect at logon" box is checked.

Thanks

.
