SHAZAAAAAAAM! HOUSTON WE NO LONGER HAVE A PROBLEM!
Chuck,
That did it. I disabled NetBIOS and IPX/SPX protocols on both machines and
instant connections for both machines. All I have running now are:
Client for M'Soft Networks
File and Print Sharing
Internet Protocol TCP/IP (NetBIOS over TCP/IP was already enabled)
