Hi again,
Okay, the problem came back again this morning. I tried the tasks below to
reinstall/reset the TCP IP settings but this did not work. I have even
scanned the computer with SpyBot to see if there was any dodgy spyware
installed but it only found 3 things which were negligible objects.
I basically reinstalled the VIA chipset drivers twice and then the network
connection began to work again.
This is such a strange problem. I did test it to see if it was working
yesterday morning, and it was. This morning the user logged on and then he
said he could not connect to the network. He did manage to logon to the
domain though. This makes me think he might have something dodgy running in
his profile?
