You said you upgraded the router. My experience with the DI-624, is that the
upgrade returns the router's setting back to the factory defaults. If you
made custom changes to these settings. You will need to change them back to
your desired settings.
Did you also upgrade the firmware for the repeater, too? You may need to
this first, by connecting the AP to your computer or router. This upgrade
should not be done wirelessly. The upgrade may also change you settings back
to the factory default ones.
If you have WEP installed on the router and wireless card, it might be
easier if you tried disabling it. Then re-enable it, when you get things up
and running. Also on the router did you change the SSID name to something
unique, not using the "default" name. You maybe getting interferance from
your "neighbor's" wireless LAN set-up.
