What I do is:
On the computer with the modem,
1. Dialup Connection/Properties > Sharing tab > Enable ICS for this
connection.
2. Local Area Connection/Properties > Internet Protocol/Properties >
Use the following IP address: 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0. All other
fields left blank.

On the other computer,
Local Area Connection/Properties > Internet Protocol/Properties >
Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address
automatically.
