Hi..
Everything was working fine till last week....
I have home LAN network that is a mixture of Wired and Wireless access. I
connect to the 'net via Broadband and I use a Belkin Wireless ASDL
Modem/Router/Hub (4 ports).
One of the ports from the router connects to my wired LAN thereby enabling
my wired PC's to connect to the 'net, as I said above all was working fine.
Last week we had problems connecting to the 'net although I could still
connect to all the other PC's on the LAN both Wired and Wireless.
I have checked the network and have found that when I connect my
modem/router to the Wired LAN network it will not allow me to access the
'net, although it will allow me to connect to the other pc's on the LAN. I
have tried pinging my own Static IP but I get the message "destination net
unreachable".
If I disconnect the modem/router from the wired network I can once again
access the 'net.
I have tried disabling Firewalls, and have reset the modem/router to all the
basic default settings but to no avail.
This set up has worked for over 9 months trouble free, and the full network
consists of 2 other wired hubs (both working fine), and 2 wireless access
points (these have been disabled).
The modem/router acts has the DHCP server, and there are no duplicate IP
addresses.
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreiciated.
Thanks
Adrian
