I have a similar problem. I cant find an answer any where, even after reading
all the posts here and going to the site suggested by Blair. I can ping all
three win xp machines on my small network, using a switch, I can see them on
the workgroup, but i cant share anything on any of the machine. I get an
access denied error message.
The firewall is turned off. all the shares have been done fine as we could
share files earlier up to some point. I have re-shared and re-set the
workgroup, but nothing doing. I have scanned for viruses, and tried almost
everything that i can think of. Please let us get someone with some helpful
tip somewhere. I have even taken care of the issues on kb article 304040
(which I know by heart by now!).
Just what is this about?
