Slow print to printer shared on XP PC from 98 PC

Hi!

I have just upgraded my PC to XP Home. I have three other machines on the
network that are Win 98.

I have a Dj5550 printer on the XP PC and it is shared. I have been able to
add the printer on the 98 PCs and am using the proper driver.

When I print a document of any type it takes forever for the print to start.
When I look at the print job a long time is spent with the document
"spooling". That is true on both the 98 (print source) and the XP (printer
location).

Before I converted my PC printing was really quick!

Any Ideas?
