I tried deleting NodeType and restarted, nothing happened. I created
NodeType with value 1 and restarted, nothing also, could not get lan to work.
can't ping by IP or by name. When I open MSHOME it shows my latptop and
desktop under "unspecified" title, what is this about? when I click on
desktop it gives netowrk path not found.

I typed "net view" in DOS and it shows both laptop and desktop names. but
pinging does not work.

I will try to bring a hub tomorrow with two stright cable and check the my
laptop connection.
