How did you get rid of the trojans? Did you also run other malware
removal tools? In other words, what did you do to ensure the computer
is 100% virus and spyware-free?
If you are really sure the computer is completely clean of all malware,
try running:
a) If using XP SP1 - LSPFix from here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
b) If using XP SP2 - Start>Run cmd [enter]
netsh winsock reset [enter]
