Just incase anyone else out there is having the same problem I found a
website forum after alot of searching with several people haveing this
problem, it also appears to effect other types of networking, not just
Dial-up internet. The common factors between the computers that were
experiencing this problem were, the Installation of additional Windows
components, Windows xp, and some version of Norton Antivirus, I myself
believe it is associated with the Installation of the additional components.
Unfortunatly simply uninstalling these components does not correct the
problem and a complete fresh re-install of Windows is required. Well i did
that and i no longer have a problem. If anyone has any reasons for this
problem it would be very interesting to hear from them.
